Returns and Refunds Policy

If you need to return a standard item held in stock at our main warehouse ordered in error or didn’t fit, please contact us at sales@britannialtd.co.uk. Please state your original purchase order number and we will issue you with a returns number. Only returns sent with a valid returns number issued by Britannia Safety Ltd will be accepted.

Unless faulty, please return garments within 14 days of purchase to avoid any handling charges, beyond 14 days the following handling charges apply:

  • 15-28 days from date of purchase – 10% handling charge
  • 29-90 days from date of purchase – 20% handling charge
  • More than 90 days from date of purchase – cannot be returned

Any specially ordered items will need confirmation as to whether we can accept back or will incur a surcharge – each circumstance may vary so will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

We cannot offer credits or refunds under the following conditions:

  • The item has been badged, embroidered, embellished or altered in any way
  • The item has been worn, used or soiled in any way
  • The garment was purchased more than 90 days ago

Return Address

Once returns are agreed please send them to the following address: Britannia Safety Ltd, 48 Tailors Court, Southend on Sea, Essex SS2 5SX, UK.

We recommend you obtain proof of postage. Return carriage is at the customers own cost and risk.

Any items returned without approval will be dealt with at our discretion – if not eligible for a credit/refund we will hold for 14 days and then dispose of unless you want to pay return carriage costs.

Credits and Refunds

Accepted returns will be refunded/credited against the original transaction type. For example, proforma transactions made via Worldpay will be refunded against the original credit or debit card used.

Faulty Garments/Error

Please report any faulty garments or incorrect deliveries as soon as possible to sales@britannialtd.co.uk and a member of customer services will contact you to resolve the issue.
